The furious battle of Pearl Harbor became the first in the sequence of gory sea combats. Can play the game, but i cant see where my mouse is until i click. This makes the game very hard to play. Is there anything that you can do? - reported @ - my mouse cursor never moved, etc, but the game was still picking up my mouse inputs.
Unlike the above, the cursor wouldnt move even when i left or right clicked. Thru some trial and error, i was able to hit esc, eventually be able to select the options (its tuff when you cant see your mouse cursor!), switch to windowed mode, and voila! The following has been a fix for other games, it may help with Heroes of the Storm too. If you are running Windows 7 or later: 1. Right click anywhere on the desktop and select Screen Resolution 2. Click on Make text and other items larger or smaller 3.

Reboots did not help or adjustments to video settings. I see that putting the windows scaling down to 100% should help, but doing this requires a log off/log on from Windows to fully commit and so I'd rather not have to do it every time I want to play the game. Being on a 3k display (2880x1620) with a 15' laptop, the computer just isn't readable at 100% scaling. Hoping updates to this thread will help enforce the need for a long-term fix:) High res displays are going to become more commonplace (hopefully)!
The issue where players need to be using a 100% to 125% DPI scaling is a known issue, and one that Microsoft is working on with NVidia and AMD to resolve. We're also aware of what it's doing with users playing our games, and hope that a resolution comes soon.:) With that said, does launching the game in a windowed mode allow the cursor to behave properly? I'd like to have some users test it just to see how that plays out: If you go to Documents Heroes of the Storm, you'll find a file called Variables.txt.
Open that up with Notepad and then edit in or find and edit the following line: displaymode=0 Save the file, and then try launching heroes again. Give it a shot and let me know how it goes! But in OP and mine issue than there IS a cursor on a screen. And I can click on skill buttons and it will activate an ability or it will show 'arrow' or 'circle' for abilities that require targeting. But clicking on a ground DOESN'T DO ANYTHING. Like mouse buttons suddenly became broken. No movement, no actual skill use - nothing.

Like game doesn't recognize clicking on the ground. If you want, I can even record a video for you. Game is unplayable atm! Updated video direvers today - nothing has changed:(.
